Bar Table Top Ideas | Is tradition changing? For years we view the long straight head table create for that bride, groom and marriage ceremony. It can be a little more tough to contact your entire marriage ceremony particularly when it can be one large long table. Now, we are seeing more brides considering different choices for their head table. Many want a more intimate, restaurant feel as if they may be spending the evening out using friends in a relaxed and fun atmosphere (which they may be naturally).
Over the last year or so I have seen some unique head table setups. Many brides desire to steer clear of the long table look and go for “out from the norm”. It is surprising to hear a few couples mention how shy they may be and don’t desire to be the center of attention while eating their meal. Others just desire to differ to make their wedding their very own style.
Here are a few ideas:
Restaurant style: How about one round table at the heart from the hall with color linens and centerpieces entirely different from your other guest tables. It would be quite evident this is the “head table”. You can even ask your decorator to hang crystals or paper lanterns from your ceiling which will be only over your table.

Modern Twist: Boardroom or U-shape “King table” as it can be called is create at the heart of the venue by utilizing 8 tables in a square formation. This is considered one of my favourites as you can accent the centre from the tables filled up with many candles, a water pond which is really cool, or floral arrangements.
