End Table Base Ideas | Is tradition changing? For years we have seen the long straight head table build for your bride, groom and wedding ceremony. It can be a bit more tough to speak with the whole wedding ceremony in particular when it really is one large long table. Now, we have been seeing more brides investigating alternative ideas for head table. Many need a more intimate, restaurant sense that they may be spending the evening out using their friends in a very relaxed and fun atmosphere (which they may be naturally).
Over the final couple of years I have seen some unique head table setups. Many brides want to stay away from the long table look and go for “out of the norm”. It is surprising to listen to a few couples mention how shy they may be and don’t want to be in the spotlight while eating their meal. Others just want to vary making their wedding their unique style.
Here are a few ideas:
Restaurant style: How about one round table in the middle of the hall with color linens and centerpieces entirely different from your other guest tables. It would be quite evident that is the “head table”. You can even ask your decorator to hang crystals or paper lanterns through the ceiling that’ll be only over your table.

Modern Twist: Boardroom or U-shape “King table” as it really is called is build in the middle of your venue through the use of 8 tables in a very square formation. This is one of my favourites as you can accent the centre of the tables full of many candles, a water pond which can be fantastic, or floral arrangements.
