Entry Table Decor Ideas | Is tradition changing? For years we come across the long straight head table build for that bride, groom and wedding party. It can be a little more tough to communicate with the whole wedding party particularly if it is one large long table. Now, we’re seeing more brides considering alternative ideas for head table. Many desire a more intimate, restaurant feel as if they may be spending the evening out using their friends in the relaxed and fun atmosphere (which they may be obviously).
Over the last few years I have seen some unique head table setups. Many brides wish to stay away from the long table look and opt for “out from the norm”. It is surprising to listen to a few couples mention how shy they may be and wish to be in the spotlight while eating their meal. Others just wish to differ to make their wedding their own style.
Here are a few ideas:
Restaurant style: How about one round table at the center from the hall with color linens and centerpieces entirely different from all your other guest tables. It would be quite evident which is the “head table”. You can even ask your decorator to hang crystals or paper lanterns from the ceiling that is to be only over your table.

Modern Twist: Boardroom or U-shape “King table” as it is called is build at the center of the venue by utilizing 8 tables in the square formation. This is one of my favourites since you can accent the centre from the tables filled with many candles, a water pond that’s great, or floral arrangements.
