Glass Table Centerpiece Ideas | Is tradition changing? For years we have seen the long straight head table set up for that bride, groom and wedding party. It can be a little more difficult to contact the complete wedding party particularly when it’s one large long table. Now, we are seeing more brides considering different options for their head table. Many require a more intimate, restaurant sense that they may be spending the evening out with their friends in a relaxed and fun atmosphere (which they may be obviously).
Over the final few years I have seen some unique head table setups. Many brides need to stay away from the long table look and select “out in the norm”. It is surprising to listen for a number of couples mention how shy they may be and don’t need to be in the spotlight while eating their meal. Others just need to vary and make their wedding their particular style.
Here are a number of ideas:
Restaurant style: How about one round table in the centre in the hall with color linens and centerpieces entirely distinctive from your other guest tables. It would be quite evident that is the “head table”. You can even ask your decorator to hang crystals or paper lanterns through the ceiling which will be only over your table.

Modern Twist: Boardroom or U-shape “King table” as it’s called is set up in the centre of one’s venue by using 8 tables in a square formation. This is considered one of my favourites as possible accent the centre in the tables full of many candles, a water pond which is great, or floral arrangements.
