Princess Table Decorations Ideas | Is tradition changing? For years we have seen the long straight head table setup for the bride, groom and marriage ceremony. It can be a little more tough to communicate with the whole marriage ceremony especially if it’s one large long table. Now, we’re seeing more brides investigating different alternatives for their head table. Many desire a more intimate, restaurant feel like they’re spending the evening out with their friends in a very relaxed and fun atmosphere (which they’re naturally).
Over the last year or so I have seen some unique head table setups. Many brides want to prevent the long table look and go for “out from the norm”. It is surprising to listen to a couple of couples mention how shy they’re , nor want to be the center of attention while eating their meal. Others just want to stand out and earn their wedding their own style.
Here are a couple of ideas:
Restaurant style: How about one round table in the centre from the hall with color linens and centerpieces entirely not the same as all your other guest tables. It would be quite evident which is the “head table”. You can even ask your decorator to hang crystals or paper lanterns from your ceiling which will be only over your table.

Modern Twist: Boardroom or U-shape “King table” as it’s called is setup in the centre of your respective venue by making use of 8 tables in a very square formation. This is one of my favourites since you can accent the centre from the tables full of many candles, a water pond that is really cool, or floral arrangements.
