Refinishing Table Top Ideas | Is tradition changing? For years we percieve the long straight head table build for your bride, groom and marriage ceremony. It can be a much more challenging to communicate with the whole marriage ceremony particularly if it can be one large long table. Now, we’re seeing more brides investigating different options because of their head table. Many require a more intimate, restaurant feel as if these are spending the evening out using their friends in a very relaxed and fun atmosphere (which these are of course).
Over the last year or two I have seen some unique head table setups. Many brides want to prevent the long table look and go for “out in the norm”. It is surprising to know a couple of couples mention how shy these are and want to be the center of attention while eating their meal. Others just want to vary making their wedding their unique style.
Here are a couple of ideas:
Restaurant style: How about one round table in the middle in the hall with color linens and centerpieces entirely different from your other guest tables. It would be quite evident which is the “head table”. You can even ask your decorator to hang crystals or paper lanterns in the ceiling that will be only over your table.

Modern Twist: Boardroom or U-shape “King table” as it can be called is build in the middle of the venue by using 8 tables in a very square formation. This is certainly one of my favourites as possible accent the centre in the tables full of many candles, a water pond that is really cool, or floral arrangements.
