Rustic Table Setting Ideas | Is tradition changing? For years we come across the long straight head table setup for your bride, groom and wedding ceremony. It can be a little more difficult to communicate with your entire wedding ceremony especially if it’s one large long table. Now, we are seeing more brides taking a look at different options for his or her head table. Many want a more intimate, restaurant sense that they are spending the evening out with their friends in the relaxed and fun atmosphere (which they are of course).
Over the past couple of years I have seen some unique head table setups. Many brides desire to stay away from the long table look and choose “out with the norm”. It is surprising to listen to several couples mention how shy they are , nor desire to be the main attraction while eating their meal. Others just desire to differ making their wedding their unique style.
Here are several ideas:
Restaurant style: How about one round table at the center with the hall with color linens and centerpieces entirely not the same as all of your other guest tables. It would be quite evident that is the “head table”. You can even ask your decorator to hang crystals or paper lanterns from your ceiling that is to be only over your table.

Modern Twist: Boardroom or U-shape “King table” as it’s called is setup at the center of your venue by making use of 8 tables in the square formation. This is one of my favourites as possible accent the centre with the tables filled with many candles, a water pond which can be awesome, or floral arrangements.
