Table Top Cover Ideas | Is tradition changing? For years we view the long straight head table setup for the bride, groom and wedding party. It can be a bit more tough to communicate with the entire wedding party particularly if it’s one large long table. Now, we’re seeing more brides considering different options because of their head table. Many desire a more intimate, restaurant feel as though these are spending the evening out using their friends in a very relaxed and fun atmosphere (which these are of course).
Over the final couple of years I have seen some unique head table setups. Many brides wish to avoid the long table look and choose “out with the norm”. It is surprising to know several couples mention how shy these are and wish to be in the spotlight while eating their meal. Others just wish to vary making their wedding their very own style.
Here are several ideas:
Restaurant style: How about one round table at the heart with the hall with color linens and centerpieces entirely distinctive from all your other guest tables. It would be quite evident that’s the “head table”. You can even ask your decorator to hang crystals or paper lanterns through the ceiling which will be only over your table.

Modern Twist: Boardroom or U-shape “King table” as it’s called is setup at the heart of your respective venue by using 8 tables in a very square formation. This is considered one of my favourites as possible accent the centre with the tables filled with many candles, a water pond which can be awesome, or floral arrangements.
