Valentine Table Decorations Ideas | Is tradition changing? For years we have seen the long straight head table setup to the bride, groom and marriage ceremony. It can be a little more challenging to contact the whole marriage ceremony particularly when it can be one large long table. Now, we have been seeing more brides looking at alternative ideas because of their head table. Many want a more intimate, restaurant feel as if they are spending the evening out with their friends inside a relaxed and fun atmosphere (which they are obviously).
Over the past couple of years I have seen some unique head table setups. Many brides desire to prevent the long table look and select “out in the norm”. It is surprising to listen for a few couples mention how shy they are and do not desire to be the main attraction while eating their meal. Others just desire to stand out to make their wedding their unique style.
Here are a few ideas:
Restaurant style: How about one round table at the center in the hall with color linens and centerpieces entirely different from all your other guest tables. It would be quite evident this is the “head table”. You can even ask your decorator to hang crystals or paper lanterns from your ceiling that is to be only over your table.

Modern Twist: Boardroom or U-shape “King table” as it can be called is setup at the center of the venue by utilizing 8 tables inside a square formation. This is among my favourites as possible accent the centre in the tables full of many candles, a water pond that is awesome, or floral arrangements.
