Valentine Table Setting Ideas | Is tradition changing? For years we percieve the long straight head table setup for the bride, groom and wedding ceremony. It can be a extra difficult to talk to the whole wedding ceremony particularly if it is one large long table. Now, we are seeing more brides considering alternative ideas for head table. Many need a more intimate, restaurant feel like they are spending the evening out using their friends in a very relaxed and fun atmosphere (which they are of course).
Over the past few years I have seen some unique head table setups. Many brides want to steer clear of the long table look and select “out in the norm”. It is surprising to listen for several couples mention how shy they are and want to be the main attraction while eating their meal. Others just want to be different making their wedding their unique style.
Here are several ideas:
Restaurant style: How about one round table in the centre in the hall with color linens and centerpieces entirely not the same as all your other guest tables. It would be quite evident that is the “head table”. You can even ask your decorator to hang crystals or paper lanterns through the ceiling that is to be only over your table.

Modern Twist: Boardroom or U-shape “King table” as it is called is setup in the centre of one’s venue by using 8 tables in a very square formation. This is one of my favourites as you can accent the centre in the tables stuffed with many candles, a water pond which can be fantastic, or floral arrangements.
