X Base Table Plans | Beer pong gets pretty crazy. There was a time where nobody literally game, and individuals who did named it “Beirut” not beer pong. Then over time, the game did start to plant it’s roots, and initiate growing over time until it seemed it hit a critical mass and merely couldn’t stop growing whatever.
The game found myself in universities, and after that into many pupils dorm rooms, and apartments, it crept into “normal” people’s lives who weren’t even during college. Then it actually took a life of its very own and went into a professional sports league and individuals now play tournaments as being a full-time thing.
Most people make their own tables away from plywood as well as other random building materials, they put their own design on it (sometimes) and after that they realize far too late that there’s just not a way to “unbuild” it and have it away from the room. And then put it back in to the room if you want to play, etc.

Basically, it’s always stuck as being a permanent fixture inside your place. Maybe that is what has kept pong “top of mind” for many people over the years, and part of why it’s caught on so quickly. Because as soon as you put in a beer pong table, it is not going anywhere!
That is until you buy yourself a folding, and portable beer pong table. They usually are more effective, look better, and when your done, you fold up, and place it inside your closet using your scrabble and monopoly games, it’s that simple.
